At Ampascachi we donate 3% of our sales to the Fundación del Azul to make equine therapy accessible to those who need it most.
At Ampascachi we are very proud to announce our collaboration with the Fundación del Azul. Founded in 2005, the foundation specialises in equine therapy, offering treatment to people with motor difficulties, autism spectrum disorder and other genetic conditions. The team attends around 100 patients per week. However, treatment is costly and many people cannot access it due to lack of resources. Scholarships exist to help those most in need, but there is still much work to be done.
Our donation
Ampascachi has agreed to donate 3% of its sales to the foundation. This means that every time you book an equestrian route with us, part of the money goes towards providing equine therapy to people with limited resources. This does not affect the price of the route and involves no additional cost for guests, as the donation comes entirely from our income.
Why is this foundation so special?
We have known the work of the Fundación del Azul for years, and their results never cease to amaze us. It is proven that contact with horses is beneficial at every level: motor, cognitive, social, emotional, sensory. Equine therapy takes this relationship a step further and turns it into a therapy to improve health. Like equestrian tourism, equine therapy helps guarantee the survival of these fascinating animals.
